Life coaching * is an interactive method of partnership to support a person or group of people aimed at setting and achieving goals and getting to where they want to be in their personal and professional lives. Coaching is a process that helps to define who you are, what your values are and it helps to move you from the place you are now to where you want to be in your life. It is about choice and calls for reflection, motivation and action.

Life Coaching will help you:

  • define or review your personal or professional goals and life priorities;
  • find a balance between your professional and social activities;
  • be motivated to follow your dream and to live a successful and happy life;
  • increase your self-confidence and self-esteem;
  • take a positive attitude to changes that occur in everyone’s life;
  • feel at ease in a new environment;
  • learn time and stress management;
  • adopt a healthy, happy and balanced lifestyle;
  • start to live in the present and listen to your inner voice;
  • learn the skill of effective listening to and persuasive communication with others.

Historically, the word ‘coaching’ comes from the field of sport and understanding this may be helpful in understanding the role of a modern life coach. From sport the concept of coaching migrated to the business and corporate sector and, over the last decade, has found its way into a life-coaching specialization, aiming to assist an individual to transform various areas of his/her daily life where he/she may feel stuck or need a change.
